"The Definition Dance activity and discussion ask students to examine common terms associated with race, antiracism, and social justice and negotiate shared meanings for those terms. It will help students identify and address the ways racism and anti-Blackness are perpetuated in everyday communicative actions and institutionalized practices. "
A 21-DAY RACIAL EQUITY CHALLENGE SYLLABUS:
"Middlebury’s Office of Digital Learning and Inquiry (DLINQ) explores and creates digital practices and spaces that advance the transformative potential of education in students’ lives, and advances digital fluency and critical engagement with the digital at Middlebury. We are a cross-institutional group of instructional designers, digital scholars, and teaching and learning professionals who offer consultations and workshops to faculty, staff, and students at Middlebury. DLINQ is part of the Office of the Provost.
Antiracism in the Digital World DLINQ is offering this resource page as a small step toward antiracist critical design and pedagogy.
While inclusive design and social justice have been integral to DLINQ’s work, we feel that antiracism needs to be specifically named and addressed."
